  Lovely spot on the King River. My criticism was of the manager who was quite polite the first day when I paid in cash (no receipt given!). The next evening after parking in my usual spot near the showers, he raced to my car screaming that I had parked in the wrong spot (no signage as to where I should have parked!) I had gotten stuck in a muddy patch and had to "rock" the car backward and forwards to free myself and then could only get free in low 4-wheel drive. I was amazed at his rudeness, stupidity, and gratuitous insults. Rather than saying he would fix the mud heap he accused me of bad driving, being drunk (not a drop!) and other very nasty comments. I will never return and if you have sense, don't give this guy the opportunity to catch him on one of his moody, ill-tempered days. .................................................................................................................. My perspective about Gentle Annie Caravan Park is reflected by comments in the following post which I view as calculated and deliberately untruthful in the extreme. I categorically deny every comment and am staggered by the gross dishonesty and fiction that has been written. I did not drive over any campsites; I did not endanger any camper; I did not perform a U-turn; and, I most certainly did not drive the wrong way down a one-way road. I did stay for the day for which I had paid cash in advance and expected an apology which never came. There was only one conversation entered into as a result of my being screamed at by someone I assumed to be the manager. He accused of being 'drunk' when I have five (5) witnesses who know categorically that I consumed no alcohol on the day in question and those witnesses agree I have been truthful regarding events previously described by myself. I cannot even give the camp the benefit of the doubt about being confused about my identity as they have maliciously fabricated events in such a way as to portray them as my mistakes. This merely confirms the lack of integrity of the camp management in my view. I believe they should be ashamed for writing such falsehoods. I believe they know the truth as do I. In my opinion the writer has no character worth assassinating. Shame on you Gentle Annie!

  Lovely and easy going camp site. A good spot for a dip in the King River on a hot day. Camp fires allowed. Central spot for wine tasting in the region. Some sites a bit far from the toilet block.

  as first timers in the south our stay was absolutely fantastic Jesse was so helpful and accommodating to us , he gave us plenty information about locations ect had an amazing 3 days met some wonderful people a real gem of a place to stay

  Very relaxing. Great powered van site. Dog friendly. Plenty for the kids to do. Lots of shade. Staff are very easy going.
